FYI: Someone recently asked me why i mess up my pictures with “SPRphotography.” After explaining, I thought I’d give a bit of explanation for the rest of you who aren’t into photography or don’t know about copyrights. The “SPRphotography” deal is my digital watermark; a visible copyright symbol which identifies my work and protects them from being used w/out permission. Another question I’ve been asked is why i make it so big? Personal preference, mostly. I started with a large one because I knew small ones can be easily photoshopped out of an image. I’ve kept up with it because i like it and i want this watermark permanently. I should also clarify that I don’t print my pictures with the watermark… or the frames i like to put on either. It’s just how how I put them up for public (esp. online) view. So, the actual picture which will be printed is only the image within the frame, and w/out the watermark. Hope that helps you better understand! I’m not a professional… like I said it’s mostly personal preference!

So… here are PARK’s portraits.
Our photoshoot was not really finished. I had plans to get some street shots yet, but the place we were thinking of was too full of people, and time ran out. I was also hoping to get some of him and his beloved bike, but we’ll have to do it some other time!
What do you think? For those of you who know Patrick… which best portrays him? Which shows his natural smile? For fellow photographers… critique away. I have my style that no one can take away, but I’m sure it can be bettered. So i give you permission to pick them apart.
God is good all the time.

It’d been a long time since I’d shot a kid!
This time was not nearly as easy as last time. Baby wasn’t the problem, however. It was the photographer, exhausted after a busy day, and not happy that the light was leaving us… not good when your main equipment is the sun!
But after excessive editing (which is not something I am necessarily proud of), I got a few that make me smile.
Smile!
